OUR STORY — A MOTHER. A SON. A YES.
His name
is Justice.
Before this was the name of a nonprofit, it was the name of my son. And before I knew how our story would unfold, I said yes.

A LETTER FROM OUR FOUNDER
Rita SpringerLove makes room.
When I adopted Justice, I didn’t know how I was going to do it. I didn’t know where the money would come from. But I knew I was saying yes to doing for a child something God had done for me: making a place for him to belong.
After losing my parents at an early age, I had learned to know God as my Father. Adoption opened up that understanding in a whole new way. I was preparing a home, making room in my life, and welcoming a child who would carry my name.
Then people started to come around me. They gave what they could. They stood with me. My yes was surrounded by everybody else’s yes.
I remember thinking: if I ever have the opportunity to do this for another family, I want to. I want to stand beside someone who is making room. I want to tell them, “I believe in what you’re doing. You are not alone.”
That heart kept growing.
Wearing Justice carries that same invitation into every part of our work. Making room for a child in a family. Making room for creativity in a school. Making room for the song, the courage, or the wonder that has grown quiet in someone.
Through mentorship, creative development, gatherings, and generosity, our heart is to help people encounter God, discover their voice, and bring hope into the world. We believe there is something worth nurturing in every life.
With love, Rita
